Polar bears

It’s been a long time since I’ve updated this blog, so today I decided, why not?

Okie dokes. This message may irritate you, make you feel guilty or make you want to throw a chair at me, but I don’t give a damn if it does. In fact, I’d like you to feel that way {but without the chair-throwing, please} because this stuff is serious ppl.

Here’s a list of things you ought to think before you act shamefully in regard to Mother Nature:

1) Every time you switch on the air-conditioner because you tell yourself it’s hot outside; think this: the more frequent you switch it on, the hotter it’s going to be outside. Why? GLOBAL WARMING! I trust I don’t have to explain this; everyone knows why {and yet they refuse to acknowledge it…hmmm} So instead of air-cond, go with trusty old fan.

2) Turtle soup SHOULD NOT be acknowledged as a delicacy! For *toot* -ing sake ppl, you have LOADS of other things to eat! Ignore the turtles and move on to the fish and chicken on the menu, will you! I hardly think chickens will be extinct soon, so eat as much as you want!

3) Don’t buy fur. Synthetic? Fine. Real? STAY CLEAR OF IT! Don’t you feel sorry for the animal that had to die just because you wanted to wear something that god gave to it for survival purposes? It IS possible to NOT buy them. They needed the fur to survive in the eco, but does that mean YOU need it to survive too?

4) Stop throwing plastic bags into the sea. Or leaving it on the beaches, either. When the sea level rises in the evenings, they’re going to be pulled into the sea. Do you want turtles to mistake them for food? Do you? Do you? Huh????

That’s all for now. I think. Yeah, it is. Too much ranting hurts my head, anyway. In the future I will touch again on this subject, but in the meantime, I would appreciate it if you could think about the rising of sea levels all around the world and how polar bears are on the brink of extinction because of it. Also, how billions of ppl will without a doubt lose their homes at the end of the century because they’ve been swallowed up by floods. Take note that these three things branched out from GLOBAL WARMING. Think about it, and act. If only you make a little change, at least when a million ppl start practising it, it’ll be a BIG CHANGE.

Love to Nature, Polar bears and otters in love,

-Aain.
